I'm an above average web developer, meybe even savvy, and I've tried this hosting company and would like to say something about the experience.

My problem with hosting from one is that they have made things too .... I've had some problems because I can't edit php.ini myself. One has set the upload limit to 2MB, which makes it pretty hopeless for me.

I also had problems when I first changed to one, because they did not want to deactivate PHP Safe Mode on my shared hosting account. This is pretty amazing, considering that many PHP applications require PHP Safe Mode to be shut off.

Because of this limitation I could not use my old gallery (Gallery 2), but instead I had to use the gallery that comes with the hosting plan. I also had problems with my WordPress blog. I like to upload a number of images bigger than 2 MB, and work with them within WordPress. This is not possible because of the 2MB upload limit. Instead I have to make my own thumbnails by resizing and cropping them before uploading. Plugins like NEXTGen gallery will also work poorly on hosting plans from one.

Though, as shared hosting for a person that doesn't want to or are unable to do anything himself, one is genious. They have a set of CMS options like a minimalistic blog CMS and the gallery I mentioned earlier. In addition they have some features which are pretty well designd, but when you eventually want flexibility you'll meet these limitations. Especially if you want to work with graphix.

On some occations I've also noticed that my pages load slowly.
